Ken started playing darts in 2013 as an alternative to sports as he was diagnosed with a herniated disc from playing basketball. Being a competitive person that he is in all sports , it didn’t take long for him to find the competitive side of darts as he started participating in local in house tournament and local team leagues. Although results didn’t come as soon as he had initially hoped, but as Ken gained more experience by participating in more local events, he started to earn results in the tournaments that he participated in. In 2016, Ken signed on with one of Japan’s top dart barrel company TRiNiDAD and darts flight / accessory company Condor.
Now, as one of the top players in Vancouver, Ken continues to participate in tournaments not only locally but globally and enjoys teaching and introducing the game of darts to new players in the local community.
He will be giving free lessons on Jan 14th at Vancouver Street Battle at 1:00 PM! If you want to improve your darts skills, make sure to drop by and learn from him!
